A new feather in the cap of the POGGENAMP family is a Joint Venture through South Korean Conglomerate POSCO with their 100% subsidiary POSCO – IPPC, India. POSCO is the fifth largest steel producer and the second highest in terms of revenue globally. The new entity is Posco Poggenamp Electrical Steel Pvt. Ltd.

The Joint Venture between POSCO and POGGENAMP will primarily focus on manufacturing laminations for both power and distribution transformer industries. Prime CRGO coils in superior grades will be supplied by POSCO to cater to a wide spectrum of transformers.
